About Marianne

 

Marianne Smith has written professionally in the corporate world for several years, but recently decided to take the courageous leap into freelancing from home.  Home is a small ranch in Middle Tennessee, which is shared with her husband and a multitude of Miniature Donkeys, horses, ponies, a Miniature Horse, Pygmy Goats, and cats.

 

She has also worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Psychotherapist, Psychiatric Researcher, Gardener, and Administrative Assistant.  Her favorite title is Donkey Rancher and Freelance Writer.

 

Things she considers essential to life:  unbridled optimism, a sense of humor, a connection to land, chocolate, and pasta.
